Capt. John Silver
Captain John Silver is an Outer Banks native, growing up on Roanoke Island. He was practically raised on the water and has been fishing his entire life.
Before starting Silver Charters, he was a full-time commercial fisherman, catching crabs and shrimp year-round. Captain John wanted to share his love of the water and sustainable seafood with others, which was what sparked Silver Charters.
He loves to have a good time as much as anyone and can assure you that fun will be had by all.
Silver Dollar
Introducing the Silver Dollar, a 43-foot Donelle boat that offers a perfect blend of comfort and functionality. Its fully enclosed cabin provides shelter and includes a table and restroom. The spacious deck features a shaded awning covering 50% of the area, along with seating options like a picnic table, cushioned bench, and cushioned cooler. Get ready for an exceptional experience aboard the Silver Dollar.

Our behind-the-scenes queen! Off the boat, she’s handling our bookings, marketing, and helping with client communication. On the boat, her job is to entertain, sleep, and drink claws!

Emmett, Rudy’s father, is our most hard-working crew member. Whether it is a fish, a crab, or a ball… he’s going to catch it! Also loves a good boat nap while riding.
